Course Description
Cost: £465 + VAT per person
Duration: 5 days:
- 5 day block OR
- 5 days over 4/5 weeks

This Site Safety Plus course is for Project Managers, Site Managers and Supervisors, business owners and clients.
You will gain an understanding of health, safety, welfare and environmental issues on construction sites.
CITB Renewable 5 year Site Safety Plus Certificate.
You must renew this qualification every five years by attending the SMSTS 2 day refresher course. You need to do this before your certificate expires or you will need to re-take the full SMSTS course.
Entry Requirements:
Good understanding of spoken and written English. Please contact us if you have any concerns in this area.
You will need to provide a valid ID on the first day of the course, such as a copy of your passport or driving licence. You must attend the full 37.5 hours of training in order to get the Site Safety Plus certificate. If you can’t attend the full course, you'll need to enrol and take the course again. You may be charged extra to cover the costs of switching courses.

- Recent changes in accepted working practices
- Behavioural safety

- Scaffolding

- PUWER regulations
- LOLER regulations
The course also includes publications, registration, certification, lunch and refreshments.
BUILDUK recognises this course as meeting the required standard for all supervisors working on BUILDUK sites.

This is a highly interactive course taught through case studies, classroom discussion, group work and individual or group presentations. You will need to do some self-study outside of the course.

- Continuous assessment. You need to attend all 5 days - see the Site Safety Plus attendance requirements.
- Multiple-choice test.
Qualifications you gain:
- CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme Certificate.
The delivery of this course and content is compliant to the new 2018 scheme rules.
In-House:
The course can be delivered at your premises but is subject to a minimum of 6 candidates attending.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Where a firm booking is subsequently cancelled, The Company reserves the right to apply the following charges: if the cancellation is made up to 7 days before the course start date, 50% of the fee; 3 days or less before the course start date, the full fee. If any cancellations are made when you purchased through our website we have to pass on the cancellation fee of £15.00 per course. Cancellations will only be accepted in writing. The date that the Company receives the cancellation will be regarded as the date the cancellation has been made and appropriate charges will apply. However, substitutions may be made at any time prior to the course start date.
Skyward Training Ltd, reserves the right to cancel a training course at any time due to unforseen circumstances. Should a course be cancelled, alternative dates will be offered or a full refund given.
