At Skyward Training our goal is to make sure our delegates are trained and leave with the knowledge they need to keep themselves, and others, safe.
So, when Art in the Docks approached us with an exciting project, we knew just what we had to do.
It all began when a member of Art in the Docks contacted our sister company, Hire Access, with no knowledge at all of how to use an access tower. All they had been told is that they need to use one to complete their job to the best possible standard. They were tasked with helping the local community paint some beautiful designs on a local business’ window. Hire Access were more than happy to help; however, Skyward Training wanted to make sure they were all trained and competent in building this tower.
Skyward Training offered up some PASMA Towers for Users course dates for them to get trained and ensure they have all the knowledge they need to be safe building this tower. Skyward Training managed to book the client onto a course within 2 days of the initial call so they could begin their job at the start of the following week. Chosen members of Art in the Docks then came to Skyward Training in Harold Wood and took part in our PASMA training course. Once they were trained, we were able to help them move on with the next part of their project.
Hire Access looked at the job site and suggested exactly what equipment they needed to get this project done safely and efficiently. Hire Access delivered the 2.34m tower to the Royal Docks so their project could begin, and they started their work!
It was a great sight to see as they recruited help from everyone in the local community and painted a beautiful design. Men, women, children; everyone got involved!
Hire Access then collected the tower 4 days later once they completed their artwork.
